After 10 years and several moves, including a brief stint as my son's bed at one time when he was younger, our living room furniture was beginning to show its age. The lining was sticking out from under the couch, the frames were separating from themselves and people were starting to throw their hips out everytime they had to get up after sitting on our living room furniture for any amount of time. So, we decided to do some furniture shopping on Saturday. We were told about this fantastic furniture store in Rancho Cucamonga called Living Spaces Furniture. So, we piled into the truck and headed out on a furniture shopping expedition.
Living Spaces has stores in several Southern California cities, including La Mirada, Irvine, Van Nuys and Rancho Cucamonga. They are open everyday from 10am-9pm and employ some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Their huge store is laid out quite well, with different sections for different types of furniture. And their selection is huge. As soon as we walked in the door, someone was there to greet us and let us know that there was free coffee and tea available if we were cold from the rainy weather outside. Even though the store was pretty busy with customers, we had several sales associates come up to us and ask if we needed anything or if they could get us something to drink while we were looking. Our wonderful salesperson, Eliza, was very helpful in pointing out the best deals for what we were looking for and stayed with us the whole time to make sure she answered any questions we had.
It was evening time when we bought our furniture, so they wouldn't be able to deliver until the following morning. We wanted to take our furniture home right then and enjoy it that night, so we had to pull around to the loading dock and have them put it on our truck for us. Even the loading dock guys were extremely friendly and helpful, offering us something to drink if we needed it while we waited.
If you live in the Southern California area and find yourself in need of furniture for any room in your house, I would highly recommend that you visit one of the Living Spaces warehouses. They're prices are great, their selection is massive, but their customer service is hands down the best I have seen anywhere for a long time. It made me believe that Yes, Virginia, there IS customer service. It's alive and well at Living Spaces Furniture.
